keto diet pills

Christine has completely transformed her health in just one year with a keto diet and intermittent fasting. Here she shares all the advantages and what it's been like ditching carbs:

Dear Dr. Eenfeldt,

I never during a million years thought that i might share my story, but after a really emotional weekend watching this year-old picture, and much of encouragement, i'm sending it along.

The picture i'm sending is one year apart – from a really unhealthy, metabolically sick 49-year old transformed to a healthy, energetic 50-year old. i'm completely blown away by the changes.

In October 2016, I had been on a “quitting sugar” journey for a couple of months and had successfully given up the white, sweet stuff. Desserts, cookies, and packaged foods were not a part of my diet but was leading to a really slow weight loss. I started this journey to reduce , and to reverse metabolic syndrome, liver disease , insulin resistance, and if i used to be very lucky, apnea .

I was complaining about the slow loss to a lover and she or he asked me if i used to be conversant in the work of Dr. Fung. I had never heard of him or of the LCHF/keto way of eating. thereon day, January 13, 2017, I came home and scoured the web for information . the primary source of data was your wonderful website. I spent ALL weekend on your website just soaking it beat . i actually appreciate all the tutorial videos and therefore the testimonials. January 13, 2017 was the Judgment Day I ate potatoes, bread, and pasta. Those were the ultimate high-carb foods that I kicked to the curb – and as a result, I had excellent results with weight loss. Because I had already quit sugar, there was little difficulty or withdrawal – I’m pretty sure I entered a ketosis state within every week of ditching those high-starchy carbs.

Nine months on the LCHF/Keto and intermittent fasting journey, I even have dropped over 80 lbs (36 kg).

Nine months on the LCHF/Keto and intermittent fasting journey, I even have dropped over 80 lbs (36 kg) and am so very on the brink of a healthy weight. I even have also lost: daily headaches, monthly migraines, cystic acne, ovarian cysts, lethargic afternoons and evenings, joint pain, inflammation, and better of all apnea – I not need to use a CPAP machine (confirmed with another sleep test that my obstructive apnea is gone!). I even have gained: a renewed joy for all times , more energy than i do know what to try to to with, a replacement appreciation for real food and cooking, shopping in regular size shops, improved self-esteem that has allowed me to be willing to place myself out there in ways I never dreamed of, and a sincere passion to share this manner of life with anyone who asks me!

Turning 50 has been the simplest thing that has ever happened to me because it really lit a fireplace in caring for my personal health. My biggest challenge was letting go of potato chips – but repeating an issue to myself on what those (and other carby foods) would do to my insulin response, i used to be ready to break that addiction and haven't any desire for those foods that obviously make me sick.

My biggest regret isn't knowing about this manner of life earlier, but i actually believe God’s hand was during this journey with me every step of the way – making it easy to adopt this new lifestyle to stay with it 100%. i'm so very grateful for real food and your website – it's truly given me the gift of LIFE to enjoy with my family and friends for several years to return . Here’s to subsequent 50 years! God bless you and your work!

Sincerely,

Christine

keto diet meal plan

Jason had gained more and more weight over the years with variety of health issues added,

without really realizing he had problems.

When he heard about the keto diet and intermittent fasting he felt intrigued.

He started keto in May of last year and a few of weeks later

he added intermittent fasting. Read on for his inspiring and relatable story:

I didn't realize how bad my life and health were until I got healthy.

I didn't realize how bad my life and health were until I got healthy.

i'm a 46-year-old from Vancouver Canada, a married father of a 10-year-old son.

I can make numerous excuses why I got so large – usual story, former athlete, tore my ACL,

became sedentary and lazy.

Finishing food off my sons’ plate when he didn’t finish his dinners

(mm pizza crusts). Ballooned up to 310 pounds (140 kilos), apnea , high vital sign ,

high cholesterol, many inflammation and joint pain.

Started doing keto on May 12, 2018. I had listened to a couple of Joe Rogan podcasts with Dr.

Peter Attia and therefore the Bell Brothers and other guests during a few days during a row,

and that they were talking about keto and intermittent fasting on his show.

So I read abreast of it and began subsequent day. I didn’t wait and plan.

My personality is to try to to it now, or something will crop up as an excuse. During my research

I found your website Diet Doctor and got completely engrossed.

It was easy to plan the primary few meals because I had salad,

veggies and meats within the fridge. I’ll also make low-carb protein shakes. Here in Canada

there's a brand that has 0.5 g carbs per serving. I’ll add a tablespoon of roasted organic

almond butter thereto to extend my fat intake (and a pleasant flavour), and add

unsweetened almond milk. Results were pretty good; fortnight in

I could feel clothes a touch looser, and therefore the scale had moved downwards

by 10 pounds (4.5 kilos). i used to be expecting the size to maneuver thanks to water loss.

I started walking my son to high school rather than driving, and that i would keep walking to the gym.

i might do 20 minutes of stationary bike for the primary week, then added some weights

selecting a part and do this for about 20 minutes, then would walk home.

That was fourfold every week .

Now, I do 37 minutes on elliptical, and an honest 45-minute workout. this is often

sandwiched between a 2-mile enter each direction.

I started intermittent fasting about two and a

half to 3 weeks in, as i used to be feeling pretty full on the upper fats of the foods i used to be

eating anyways. Again, I heard people mention it on the Joe Rogan podcast so

I started 16:8 for a touch

then gradually found 20:4 was good on behalf of me . Now I’m an enormous fan of

OMAD (one meal a day). I’m basically OMD Sunday-Wednesday, then I’ll fast Wednesday at 5 pm

until Saturday at 5 pm. My aim is 22-hour fasts on OMAD but won’t beat myself abreast of time.

It’s all about habits, and therefore the gym may be a habit or routine on behalf of me .

I’ve been very, very strict. are fat adapted from the beginning .

I’m not eating (much) dairy and haven’t played around with those fat bomb recipes I see everywhere.

During my time-restricted feeding, i will be able to have coffee with cream or black.

If i buy Starbucks, I’ll order an Americano with cream and add stevia.

I’ll have a Zevia-carbonated water from time to time, but i used to be never an enormous

cola drinker (I was into energy drinks, which was worse). I even have made instant pot bone

broth and enjoyed that also . My main thing is that I drink tons of water.

I’ll fill my 750-ml bottle endless times. Sometimes I’ll add stevia. i do know some will say

I break the fast if I even have coffee or Zevia, but this is often about weight loss and it’s working

on behalf of me . Keeps me on target . I’ll do one seven-day

true water fast once 1 / 4 to for autophagy.

I’m down from a size 46 jeans to a 30/32, counting on

style and cut and weigh about 170 pounds (77 kilos) down from 310 (140).

i feel 170-175 pounds (77-79 kilos) is my sweet spot, as I’ve played around from 165-175 (74-79).

Just feel a touch stronger at 175 than 165.

My plan is to continue eliminating sugars and carbs out of my diet.

I have traded in my sugar addiction for an addiction to knowledge and research.

In summary, this is often what has worked on behalf of me . i actually believe if I can roll in the hay

so can anyone. I even have traded in my sugar addiction for an addiction to knowledge and research.

I absorb numerous informative podcasts from Joe Rogan, Peter Attia, Rhonda Patrick, Diet Doctor Podcast with Dr. Bret Scher, and any podcasts with Dom D’Augostino or Jason Fung as guests.

The keto combo with IF has been great, that’s 80% of the battle. the opposite 20% comes from traveling

. albeit it’s just long walks. I started parking my car at the farthest spot possible.

My steps increased from 3,000 each day to fifteen ,000 now.

I have had a few of nights where I even have gone for wings and had some booze.

I had either a low-carb beer or vodka soda. One night we went and had regular beer and

ciders at a beer festival and that i didn’t beat myself up about it, it had been fun and price it.

I fasted for twenty-four hours, ate keto and was back in ketosis directly .

But that was two months into my journey, so i used to be fat adapted.

As far as supplements I take, I’ll take an attempt of apple vinegar within the dark and in the morning, and a tablespoon of MCT oil. Yes, I’ll do them straight up. Other supplements: creatine before a workout, vitamin D3, a magnesium electrolyte supplement, and a animal oil capsule, and CoQ10, beat my feeding windows. i'm now looking into supplementing with NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide). Hopefully a Diet Doctor podcast article soon that .

I am not on blood-pressure medication, don't snore or have apnea any longer ,

and as of this month, my doctor allowed me to return off my statin RX. LDL was a touch high

at 4.5 mmol/L but i used to be at an optimal 3.5 ratio with HDL at 1.92.

So many excuses on why I got huge to start out with (ACL surgery, finish kids meals, not active etc)

but don’t check out the how did i buy here, check out the how do i buy OUT of here.

I receive text messages and every one are from friends and associates wanting help.

I take the maximum amount pride in their success as I even have had on my very own .

they need me to start out my very own blog, and even my doctor wants me to talk at conferences

he goes to and shows off my biomarkers. My urine ACR (Albumin/Creatinine Ratio)

was a dangerous high 112.6 and is now 2.0 after going keto and losing 145 pounds (65 kilos).

One of the mitigating factors when deciding to vary things, was my sister who may

be a type 1 diabetic and needed a kidney transplant. it had been determined that i used to be

NOT a viable donor thanks to the bio markings of protein in my urine. They said if things kept

going the way they were, i used to be getting to need all my organs. I felt terrible that

I couldn't donate my kidney to her. Fortunately, a tremendous cousin was a match for her.

I get inspired when people say that I inspire them.

My life now's pretty amazing. i buy inspired when people say that I inspire them.

Considering how briskly everything happened — tons of individuals saw me

six months ago, and see me today — they're shocked.

My weight loss was super fast. 30 pounds (14 kilos) in first 30 days, 90 pounds (49 kilos)

within the first 60 days. Then the remaining 50 pounds (23 kilos) over subsequent

four months. That’s 145 pounds (65 kilos) in seven months. My goal was always 170 pounds (77 kilos).

Not sure why I set such a lofty goal, i feel I just put in perspective of being an

enormous MMA (mixed martial arts) fan and figured Welterweight was the proper weight

class on behalf of me . Seemed unrealistic initially , but I wanted the goal really distant

so i might not stop in need of my potential.

The biggest challenge was just starting it. Once i used to be determined to vary my life,

i used to be off to the races. i might choose high-sugar Starbucks drinks a few times each day ,

once I found an alternate (americano) I knew I could do that . I missed sushi,

but i will be able to have a poke bowl with a bed of salad rather than rice, add some good

spicy fermented veggies like kimchi, I didn’t miss sushi at all!

I wish I knew what proportion I could use avocados!! I smash my avocados into guacamole and

add that to numerous things. I’m fortunate enough that I make all the meals within the house

five out of the seven nights, the opposite two I add the evening, so I even have 100% control

my food intake.

My family hasn’t complained in the least about the good meals i'm finding. I’ll still cook them up

homemade burgers, but I eat mine on a lettuce wrap, or cook up tacos, again during a lettuce wrap.

It’s pretty easy, and when the load comes off quick, it’s easy to remain motivated.

keto diet menu
Jean

After a life-long battle with weight, Jean decided to form one last attempt before abandoning . Fortunately, that last attempt happened to be the keto diet. And two years later, she was 140 pounds (65 kilos) lighter.

Here, Jean shares all the superb health benefits she has reaped on her journey and a few helpful tips for anyone who wants to realize an equivalent thing.

Her story has been lightly edited for length and clarity.

Jean’s keto story

I am a 37-year old female, born and raised in Kenya and currently living in Nairobi. I even have lost a complete of 140 pounds (65 kilos) from my highest weight. It took me two years to lose the load , and have since maintained the loss for over one and a half years.

I started my weight loss-journey with calorie restriction while still eating carbs. I lost some weight but soon stalled for several months. the shortage of progress nearly broke me, and that i felt like abandoning . After many research online, I discovered the ketogenic diet. I made bound to learn the science behind keto by watching many YouTube videos, reading keto books, and using keto community websites for support.

I decided to trust the method and therefore the science before completely giving up… then , i attempted keto.

In the past, I had tried every diet known to man and failed. So once I started reading about keto, it sounded crazy to me. After decades of demonizing fat and believing that you simply can’t live without carbs, I just couldn’t wrap my head round the high-fat aspect. But i made a decision to trust the method and therefore the science before completely giving up… then , i attempted keto.

As soon as i started in May 2015, the load began to drop once more (slowly but surely), and that i began to feel such a lot better and healthier. I had no more carb-crash afternoon naps. I felt energized throughout the day, I had great concentration, my skin cleared up, and that i lost weight and inches. most significantly , my high vital sign , which I’d suffered with for many years , finally reversed itself within a couple of months and has normalized so far without medication.

I also was amazed that within the primary month of full keto eating, the painful menstruation cramps that I’d suffered with for many years also completely vanished. There are still numerous more benefits than I can list, but long story short is that keto completely changed my life. For the primary time in my life, I feel good about myself physically, emotionally, and mentally.

In addition to the present , it's the simplest and tastiest “diet” that I ever did in my life. In fact, the sole difficult part about it had been the patience part — as would be the case with any weight-loss journey because it's a marathon, not a race — but I took the journey at some point at a time, telling myself only for today, i will be able to eat right, and a couple of days became every week , then a month, and now years. lately , I reminisce and feel so thankful for taking that chance and sticking to it… there have been stalls, but I kept telling myself to stay on going regardless of what, and through those stalls, i might still see inch loss and feel clothes getting looser.

I have lost the majority of my weight from my upper body, letting me know that much of the visceral fat surrounding my vital organs has melted away. I even have a waist for the primary time in my life and now wear a belt with my dresses and luxuriate in buying trendy outfits (and not only for anything that might fit like within the past).

Since May 2015 (so shy of three years now), I even have been eating this manner , and that i now know that I can sustainably eat this manner for the remainder of my life. Keto is so tasty. i really like having the fatty cuts of meat along side non-starchy vegetables. having the ability to salt, cook in delicious butter and copra oil , and drizzle vegetable oil on my salads is amazing. I always feel satiated and full for hours after a meal. I never feel deprived. On some days, I do intermittent fasting (16:8).

When doing that initial research, i noticed that the science of insulin resistance was sound. Especially for people that have struggled with weight issues for many years , perhaps since infancy , and couldn’t reduce on low-calorie diets, as were the case on behalf of me .

Once I started keto, the lifelong food cravings I had disappeared entirely, and for years now I’ve been cured of my sugar/carb addiction with no desire ever to binge again.

What shocked me the foremost was that when I started keto, within the absence of sugar and carbs, the lifelong food cravings I had disappeared entirely, and for years now I’ve been cured of my sugar/carb addiction with no desire ever to binge again. this manner of eating works. It’s the key to breaking lifelong struggles with food addiction and may reverse lifestyle diseases.

I still have weight to lose but, I can say that with the loss of 140 pounds (64 kilos), my life has completely transformed for the higher and have gained my health back in leaps and bounds. i'm also now active and attend the gym four to 5 times every week for strength training and cardio. However, throughout the journey, I focused 90-95% on my food and only used exercise as an addition for heart health. this manner of eating works if one trusts the method .

I am thankful to keto advocates like Dr. Andreas Eenfeldt and lots of others who are spreading awareness of the advantages of the low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) lifestyle which may reverse lifestyle diseases. Knowledge is power, and that i hope that the planet may open its eyes and see the health benefits of this lifestyle.

Kind regards,

Jean
